Dan Cavanagh serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) and is based in Dublin, Ireland. Dan oversees the assessment of all origination targeting, transaction structuring and counterparty monitoring and due diligence across JSA’s portfolio. He has over 20 years’ experience in aircraft leasing, equities and finance.

Prior to joining JSA, Dan spent over five years with BOC Aviation in London, where he initially served as Senior Risk Manager for the EMEA region, before moving to the position of Vice President, Marketing. He has also held senior Risk positions at both DAE Capital and Avolon, working in both Dublin and Miami. Dan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.
