Jackson Square Aviation, a leading global aircraft leasing company, today announced the promotion of Michael Hazelton to Executive Vice President, Head of Aircraft Trading.
In this role, Michael will lead JSA’s aircraft trading strategy, overseeing portfolio optimization and transaction activity across the company’s global platform. His appointment underscores JSA’s continued investment in aircraft trading as a core capability supporting its long-term growth and commitment to delivering tailored solutions to customers worldwide.
Michael joined JSA in 2011 as part of the company’s early global expansion, where he played a key role in establishing its presence in Asia. Based in Singapore, he led airline marketing efforts across the region and contributed to capital markets initiatives, helping to strengthen JSA’s global platform during a period of significant growth.
He transitioned to the Aircraft Trading team in 2019 and has since been instrumental in executing strategic transactions and enhancing JSA’s trading capabilities.
With more than 20 years of experience in aviation leasing and asset finance, Michael brings extensive industry expertise and a global perspective, having worked across multiple markets and transacted on a wide range of complex aviation financings.
