Their discussion covered the potential for lessors to utilise the SAF Book and Claim construct to enhance products to customers and accelerate the adoption and scaling of SAF. By exploring strategies to reduce the “SAF Premium” for airlines and leveraging the financial structures inherent in leasing, JSA and FEG highlight innovative pathways to make SAF more accessible and economically viable.
