John Bloemen joined Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) in February, 2026 as Head of Asia
Pacific, Marketing. John formerly held the position of Head of Aircraft Leasing & Sales (Asia
Pacific & Middle East) with BOC Aviation Limited joining the company in May, 2008. Prior to
joining BOC Aviation, John held various roles with AWAS (acquired by Dubai Aerospace
Enterprise) from 1999 most recently as Vice President Sales based in London.

A lawyer by profession, John has been involved in various transactions including aircraft
financing, operating leases & aircraft sales and has developed a wide range of skills
covering all aspects of aircraft finance & leasing. John has worked closely with the major
OEMs at a senior level with a focus on supporting airline customers with their long-term
strategic fleet requirements.

Prior to joining AWAS John worked for a major Australian law firm specialising in property
and commercial law. John studied Arts & Law at the University of Western Australia and
holds an Industrial Management Qualification (Aviation) from the University of New South
Wales. John is admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor to the Supreme Courts of NSW and WA
and to the High Court of Australia. John has completed advanced negotiation courses at
Harvard Business School as well as attending GE executive education at Crotonville NY.

A resident of Singapore, John’s other interests include hiking, cycling, St Ayles Skiff rowing
and ocean swimming.
