Kevin McDonald serves as Chief Executive Officer for Jackson Square Aviation, based in San Francisco. He also sits on the Company’s Board of Directors. Kevin has been with JSA since foundation in 2010 and has been involved in all areas of the Company’s rapid development over the past 16 years, including its formation, its 2013 sale to Mitsubishi HC Capital, and its subsequent transformation into a global leader with a fleet and pipeline valued in excess of US$15 billion. Working closely with JSA’s senior management team and with the support of its long-term shareholder, Kevin has led the Company through multiple cycles into a position as one of the world’s foremost providers of aviation capital and fleet solutions. Kevin was appointed JSA’s CEO in 2019; previously he served as JSA’s Executive Vice President, Capital Markets and Chief Investment Officer.
Kevin had joined Pegasus Aviation in 2002 and helped launch Pegasus Aviation Finance Company in 2004, which built a world-class fleet of over 130 aircraft before its sale to AWAS in 2007. Prior to his time at Pegasus, Kevin was an investment banker covering lessors and other financial institutions at the New York offices of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse.
He has a B.A. (Economics) from Columbia University.
