San Francisco Botanical Garden

JSA’s San Francisco team volunteered at San Francisco Botanical Garden horticulturalists, assisting with the general maintenance of the botanical garden and carried our duties such as weeding, planting, mulching, and did a general tidy up of the gardens.

San Francisco Botanical Garden is a living museum within Golden Gate Park, offering 55 acres of both landscaped gardens and open spaces, showcasing more than 8,000 different kinds of plants from around the world. Volunteers are an essential source of support for the Garden, helping to maintain plant collections, engage with visitors, and provide hands-on learning opportunities for youth. We especially appreciate volunteer groups, such as JSA, who participate in large-scale projects, such as revitalising the redwood grove, or planting in the Celebration Garden.
