Since 2017, JSA’s San Francisco team has volunteered at San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, which has a mission to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin Counties by providing nutritious food packages to a wide range of people in the community. From socially disadvantaged and low-income families, people with disabilities, and senior citizens, SF-Marin Food Bank provides those who are vulnerable and in need of home delivery with the urgent support they need.
Over the past few years, JSA’s team has helped to sort food items and package up to 1,000 food boxes each volunteer day, working hard together to carry out various duties including measuring rice, packaging oranges, and boxing various other food items to go to much needed homes. Giving back to our community is always enjoyable and rewarding.
